Community Impact Spotlight Bayside High School — Our First School Supported 💙

Our hearts are so full. Our 1st Annual 3v3 Basketball Tournament was a huge success thanks to each and every one of you—those who came to support us, played your hearts out, donated generously, volunteered, and gave your time and energy to make this event possible.
A heartfelt thank you to all our amazing sponsors for supporting our nonprofit event:
To all of my Fridi’s Angels for your anonymous donations, to everyone who gave before, during, and after the event, and to those who continue to donate today—thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Special thanks to George Eliopoulos for organizing and supporting the teams, and to my incredible committee—Pete, Jimmy, Helen, Dean, Themi, Thanasi, Roula, Eli, Christina, George, Kally, Tina, Sam, Yianni, Foti, and BA—who showed up at every call, every weekly meeting, and did whatever it took to make this day a reality.
To Laura, for her amazing skills on the microphone and capturing the event on video. To ALL of our volunteers who know who you are and if I start to list I will probably miss one so I am going to say thank you, thank you, thank you as you ALL hold a very special place in our hearts and you all worked tirelessly from start to finish. To our friends, our families, the LIC Sons who were his truest and dearest and every single one of you who stood by our side—thank you.
We are also deeply grateful to the Greek Church of Holy Resurrection, the Parish Council, community members who volunteered, Father Panteleimonwho embraced us, and Father Pourakis, who always keeps Greg in his heart. Your love and support have been a blessing.
Thanks to all of you, our vision has become a reality.
Live Loud Like Greg will continue to support the Ronald McDonald House and will begin working on athletic scholarships for students.
With sincere gratitude and love,
Pauline, Maria & Ahilleas Roditis
Greg wasn’t just someone you remembered—he was someone you could never forget. He was the loudest in the room, always with a joke on his lips, a laugh that could fill the silence, and a personality that pulled you in whether you knew him for five minutes or five years.
Behind the jokes was a man with a heart of gold—someone who showed up, who cared hard, and who never let the darkness win, even when things got hard.
Cancer may have taken a physical toll on him, eventually spreading to his spine—but Greg never let it take his spirit. He fought with quiet courage, with dignity, and with the same warmth he gave to everyone around him.
This fundraiser is about more than just loss—it’s about love, memory, and legacy. He may no longer be with us, but his laughter, kindness, and unshakable presence still live in our hearts.
**Live Loud Like Greg** — a name fitting for the amazing person he was.
The 2nd Annual 3v3 Basketball Tournament will take place on September 12, 2026!
